APA Title Page Generator (APA 7)
Build an APA 7 student title page with a live, true-to-spec preview you can print or copy.
What is APA Title Page?
An APA 7 student title page is a short and very specific document: the title in bold and in title case, centred, positioned three or four lines down from the top margin; then the author, the department and institution, the course number and name, the instructor and the due date, each on its own centred line, all double-spaced, with the page number in the header. Almost every mistake in a submitted title page is ordering, centring or spacing rather than content, which is why a preview that is faithful to the specification is more useful than a list of instructions.
How it works
The page is rendered as a real sheet at Letter proportions with a 1-inch margin, so the preview on screen is a proportional scale of the printed page. The title is bold and centred, each subsequent element is a separate centred line, and the whole block is set on the double-spaced line height that the specification requires. The sheet that prints is the same markup with the rest of the page hidden, so what is seen is what comes out. Fields left empty keep a visible placeholder and are listed under the preview, because a missing instructor name is exactly the sort of omission a finished document hides.
