What is Maclaurin Series?
A Maclaurin series is the Taylor series centred at 0, and it is where the standard expansions come from: eˣ = 1 + x + x²/2! + …, sin x = x − x³/3! + …, cos x = 1 − x²/2! + ….
How it works
It is the Taylor engine with the centre fixed at zero — the same exact derivatives, the same factorial coefficients. Keeping the centre out of the inputs is the only difference, which is exactly what makes it a separate question worth its own page.
- Enter your input. Type or paste your input into the field above — the tool responds instantly.
- Review the result. Output updates live as you type. Everything runs entirely in your browser.
