What is Credits?
A credit requirement is a running total: the courses you have passed, plus the ones you are taking now, against the number the credential needs. Keeping the two apart matters, because a graduation audit treats completed credits as banked and in-progress credits as pending — a distinction that decides whether you can register for the next term at all.
How it works
Completed course credits are summed separately from in-progress ones and added together for the projected total. Progress is that total divided by the credits required, capped at 100%, and the credits remaining are the shortfall, reported as a progress bar alongside the two subtotals so it is clear how much of the total is still pending.
