What is Which Period??
“Which period is it?” is a question with an exact answer that is surprisingly fiddly to work out: the timetable is somewhere else, the clock is between periods, and a passing period technically belongs to neither lesson. This tool answers it from the schedule itself — including the gap between lessons, where the honest answer is “Period 4 starts in 3 minutes” rather than “no period”.
How it works
Your time is looked up in the timetable rather than counted down from a start, which is why the page is correct the instant it opens and stays correct if the tab was in your pocket: passing periods and before-school time are named, the period you are in is highlighted, and the one about to start is marked as next. The clock follows your device until you type a time, at which point the answer becomes static — useful for checking tomorrow's schedule or a friend's.
