School Bell Schedule Calculator
Build a full school-day timetable from the first bell, period length, passing period and period count.
What is Bell Schedule?
A bell schedule is the shape of the school day written as times: when each period starts, when it ends and how long the gaps between lessons are. Getting it right matters more than it looks, because the final bell decides the bus a student catches and the passing period decides whether the walk from the science block is actually possible. The arithmetic is simple but it compounds — six periods with five passing periods is eleven time additions, and one off-by-one in the middle shifts everything after it.
How it works
The schedule is sequential time accumulation: period 1 starts at the first bell, runs the length you set for a lesson, and the next period starts after the passing period. The readouts separate the time actually spent in class from the time spent moving between rooms, so a schedule with generous passing periods shows up as a shorter teaching day rather than a longer one. Change any input and every row moves together; the printable sheet and the copyable text version come from the same rows, so they cannot disagree.
