What is Hundreds Chart?

A hundreds chart arranges the numbers from 1 to 100 into ten rows of ten. The row-and-column structure makes place value visible and turns skip counting into a pattern: multiples of 5 fall in the last two columns, multiples of 9 lie along a diagonal, and skip counting by 4 from 3 reveals the same residue class each time.

How it works

Cells are generated from your start number and count, so a sheet of 100 numbers is exactly 100 cells. The highlight rule is evaluated per value — either “is a multiple of N” or the arithmetic sequence you name — and the count of highlighted cells is reported so you can verify the rule before printing.
